This weekend marked the first time I used the Autoshare service I signed up for last month. It's really convenient: there's an Autoshare car parked in a lot opposite my apartment. If it's free, I can book it any time and pay for it by the hour and by the kilometre. It's much more convenient than renting a car, especially for short trips. Saturday's was a good example: we just went down to the Loblaws on Harbourfront to get some groceries. Unfortunately, Saturday wasn't a perfect test example, as the prior person with the car was late getting it back, but the weather was horrible so it was understandable. I estimate that the trip cost me about $5-$6, better than the TTC given that Anne came with me.
