Another alternative to BlogVoices, which might help me get the comments count back (since BlogVoices, server-driven, doesn't), was announced on Blogger recently, and I'm checking it out. It's called dotcomments. It uses PHP, a server script language, to build pages. I'll post an update here when I figure out out.
